The following services are offered on a very limited basis to horses that require short-term support to reach their full potential.

 

Young Horse Starting​

In order to ensure a quality experience for each horse, PPH only accepts a limited number of horses for starting. We require a minimum of 3 months for horses in this program. Many clients choose to leave their horses with us for a longer period of time to give them as much exposure as possible and begin their performance career. This program is designed to provide a young horse with the proper foundation to be successful competing in any discipline. A consultation before starting is essential to ensure that each horse is correctly started with the right approach for its intended career.
 

Restarting and Behavioral Issues
We sometimes assist clients with horses that have been previously started, and are missing some basic skills, or exhibiting unwanted behavior. We will accept these horses for a minimum of 3 months. All restart candidates are first evaluated by Lorin who will provide recommendations for a successful approach. We utilize the same basic approach as with our unstarted horses, which is modified according to our findings during the evaluation.

 ​Located on 100 acres in Shamong, NJ, Priceless Performance Horses operates out of Saddlebrook Ridge Equestrian Center and offers an indoor and outdoor arena, cross-country field, round pen, wooded trails, and plenty of space to ride, condition and train year-round.​ See footage of the facility by clicking here!

What's Included:​

• Turnout

• Nutritional and overall health consulting

• Matted stalls - daily cleaning and fresh bedding

• High quality grass hay 

• Necessary blanketing, boots, fly masks, fly spray (provided by owner) 

• Training sessions provided on an individualized schedule that allows us to adjust based on how they’re progressing throughout each month*

• For this package most, if not all, sessions will be one-on-one between Lorin and the horse. Lessons with the owner will be determined throughout the horse's training period.

• On-site access to indoor and outdoor rings, trails, round pen and cross-country field

*Please note: Training is provided consistently, but not on a rigid schedule. Sessions are guided by your horse’s needs, energy level, fitness level and progress — not by checking boxes. Our priority is doing what’s right for the horse overall.

Pricing Breakdown: ​

• Training board: $1,300 per month

• Full training: $1,350 per month

• Total training package: $2,650 per month*
